ב-CENTO8 ישנה בעיה ישר לאחר התקנה לא ניתן לעדכן דבר -
Failed to download metadata for repo
ככה זה נראה -
[root@autocontroller ~]# yum update
CentOS-8 - AppStream 70 B/s | 38 B 00:00
Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'AppStream': Cannot prepare internal mirrorlist: No URLs in mirrorlist
היה שינוי בנתיבי העיכונים שלא עבר הלאה ויש לשנות זאת ידני -
After Dec 31st, 2021, if you need to update your CentOS, you need to change the mirrors to vault.centos.org where they will be archived permanently.
אז יש לעשות את הפעולות הבאות -
cd /etc/yum.repos.d/
ואז להריץ את השינויים הבאים
sed -i 's/mirrorlist/#mirrorlist/g' /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-*sed -i 's|#baseurl=http://mirror.centos.org|baseurl=http://vault.centos.org|g' /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-*
ואז יהיה אפשר לבצע עידכונים -
yum update -y
